The course provides good & enough background to SDR ^& most importantly we all learning from the best in the WEB.

It was a good basic primer for the SDR course. It is worth going through the basic concepts.

MOTW explains the intricacies on SDR basics and as usual, does a phenomenal job of explaining. Can't help but feel fully immersed and captivated during his teaching.

great introduction on Radio basics

Very enlightening and highly inspiring. I was captivated. No flannel and no bull. OTW presents the lectures in a way I believe anyone can grasp, regardless of their level of education. I left school with nothing (Ok, maybe a bad attitude.) But I genuinely believe that had OTW been my teacher 50 years ago, I would have left school a wiser, more intelligent, and better-educated kid. And, no doubt, without the attitude. Thanks again, I am educated.

The class reviewed concepts which were a refresher form me. It also let me know that I am going to need Dragon OS and to buy some equipment to do take the SDR Hackers course. Note: I was unable to install Dragon OS on my machine since it based on Ubuntu which has always bee a problem with any Linux distribution related to Ubuntu. I always get the RST (Intel Rapid Storage Technology) error. The suggested solution of switch to AHCI doesn't work since my machine is already set to AHCI and not RST. If you know of a way around this, please let me know.

This course offers a great introduction to radio signals. Throughout the program, participants will engage with fundamental terminology essential for exploring Software Defined Radio (SDR) from a hacker's perspective. In addition, participants will explore antennas, software, and hardware required for the practical exploration of radio signals.
